Gummers How

Gummers Howe, National Park. You start at the Fell Foot Brow road from the southern end of Windermere off the A592. Park on the road or at the Astley's Plantation car park opposite.

Adam Baker-Ellwood

Gummers Howe is a hill 321 meters high. It is suitable for kids and adults aged 8-60, but you mustn't have back problems because there is a lot of steps to climb up. It does not cost anything to climb up but there is pub near called the Masons arms which is a five minute walk away. You don't need equipment except from wellies because there is a few boggy bits, and you need a camera to take a photo of your kids on the trig point! The nearest attraction is Lindeth fell.
