Fell Foot Park -Newby Bridge

Fell Foot Park
Lake Windermere, Newby Bridge

Gordon Blackburn

The views of Lake Windermere beyond the park are breathtaking. The Victorian lawns and garden sweep away to fine picnic areas and lakeshore. Lunch on the boathouse patio is very nice, where you can enjoy watching the boats and soaking into the atmosphere. Bring your own boat to explore the lake. Suitable for all ages. Great area to play ball games, run and hide in the rhododendrons, and a fantastic play ground made of thick logs. Fab ice creams.

No cost to enter. Parking is the only entrance cost,it is a National Trust car park. No special epuipment, just lots of time to play, relax and unwind.

We had a lovely play in the park. Then we had a run through the rhododendrons, a really good ice cream and we even had a go on the archery. That was really good.
