Brantwood House and Gardens. The Home of John Ruskin.
On the eastern shore of Coniston Water.
There is a quiz to do as you walk around the house and a trail that leads you all around the gardens.
It is suitable for all ages and fun for everyone.
It has a cafe, toilets, disabled access (you can drive up to the cafe if you have a disabled person on board) and a shop.
It is £6.30 per adult, £1.35 per child aged 5-15 and £13.15 per family.
No special equipment is needed.
I really enjoyed the quiz around the house and the trail around the gardens. But the thing I enjoyed most was the tea and cake in the cafe! Yum!
Coniston Water and the village of Coniston are nice places to go!
